You are in control of our Doppler radar! This interactive tool gives you three views, each on a separate tab:
1 First Alert Doppler: We've integrated Southern Colorado's only live Doppler radar with interactive mapping, so you can see what First Alert Doppler sees right down to street level - right over your house. Because the live data runs through the mapping software, this presentation is about 1 minute behind true "live."
2 Radar/Storms: This also has views down to street level, plus additional interactive features, like the speed and direction of a storm cell, so you know where the storm's headed and when it will hit. This is built from the National Weather Service radars everyone else relies on, so the information trails that of live First Alert Doppler.
3 Futurecast: When you hit the Futurecast "play" button, you see a projection of what will happen over the next 48 hours.
With all three of these, you can zoom in, zoom out, turn different layers off and on, even change the transparency - it's all under your control!
