You can see how a journey with cancer is transformed into art and hope.

This free public exhibit in Pueblo features 50 works of art by cancer survivors or people whose lives have been touched by cancer from across the country.

The Lilly Oncology on Canvas program says the first day of a cancer diagnosis begins one of life's most profound journeys.

This exhibit provides those who have been diagnosed with cancer, their health care providers, family members, friends and caregivers the opportunity to share their cancer experience through art.

Some of the art pieces displayed in exhibits across the country include some from Pueblo and Colorado Springs.

The Dorcy Cancer Center is one of just three locations in the state to host this international art work.

The art exhibit is open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at ABC Bank located on 3rd and Main Street.

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Dorcy Cancer Center at 2004 Lake Avenue.
The exhibit is on display until December 11th.

You can register and submit your art work for the 2010 competition at www.lillyoncologyoncanvas.com
