The long time Colorado Springs car dealership Daniels Chevrolet could once again soon be selling new Chevy's. Owner Elizabeth Daniels said in a statement Wednesday.

"We were contacted by GM about our desire to keep our Chevrolet Franchise.  We should receive a letter of intent within ten days to enter into a new sales and service agreement."

Daniels has been a fixture in Motor City for decades and has been selling cars in Colorado Springs for 80 years.

They were one of the roughly 2,000 dealers nationwide who had their franchises revoked during the restructuring of General Motors last year. Over 600 of those dealerships are rumored to be reinstated in the coming weeks.
