Deadly rollover: 7 year old killed

A 7 year old boy was killed early Friday when the van he was riding in rolled over in Las Animas County. Colorado State Patrol says Christy Sue Mosman of Colorado Springs was driving the van on I-25 when it went off the right side of the road. Investigators say she overcorrected to the left and rolled across the southbound lanes.

Mosman and the 7 year old boy were thrown from the van. Two other children were not ejected and suffered moderate injuries. State Patrol says it appears the 7 year old was only wearing a lap belt. Mosman was not wearing a seat belt.

No word on the relationship between the driver and the three children.
