Fire damages vacant Colorado Springs home

Colorado Springs firefighters have put out a fire in an abandoned home, in the 2200 block of Farragut. No one was injured.

A passerby saw smoke and called 911 at 9:30 Tuesday morning. Investigators think the fire started in the attic.Fire they think started in the attic.

The house is believed to have been empty for about a year.
