Flu vaccine clinic underway in Fountain

An H1N1 swine flu vaccine clinic is underway in Fountain. The location: The Hangar, 6436 S. Highway 85/87, Suite R.

The vaccine will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to members of high-risk groups. The vaccine is free.

Doctors offices in both El Paso and Pueblo counties have supplies of the vaccine. When the immunization is free, you will have to pay for an office visit. In addition, pharmacies in El Paso County also have the vaccine. Expect to pay a procession fee. Only clinics held by health departments are completely free.
