Free cab rides for Cinco de Mayo

The McDivitt Law Firm and Colorado Springs Yellow Cab are teaming up to offer partygoers a free ride home during Cinco de Mayo.

Adults who have been drinking and need a safe way to get home can call Yellow Cab at 777-7777 and tell the receptionist that the ride is on McDivitt Law Firm for a free ride home from the bar.

Rides to other drinking establishments will not be free.

Karen McDivitt says the law firm has given out over $74,000 in cab rides for the past three years.

"We just want to raise awareness of drinking and driving, want to tell the community that we care about them and want to keep them safe," McDivitt said.

Rides can't be guaranteed, but every attempt will be made to accommodate requests.
