Local health officials say there is no seasonal flu vaccine shortage.

Bernadete Albanese, medical director of the El Paso County health department, says some places ran out of vaccines because so many people got them early.  She says more is expected to arive in mid-to-late october and early november.  "We may just be seeing a little bit of a mismatch between a lot of demand for the seasonal flu vaccine but not yet receiving all of our supplies," she said.

Albanese said a small amount of the swine flu, or H1N1, vaccine will be arriving to the county soon. The first batch will only be for health care workers. More doses will be coming each week, she said.
