Mayor and Vice Mayor recall paperwork filed

A local homeless activate has filed paperwork with the city clerk's office to begin a recall effort, an employee with the city clerk's office tells News First 5.

She said Patrick Ayers filed the intent this morning.  Ayers held a media conference last week to announce his plans.  He called Mayor Lionel Rivera and Vice Mayor Larry Small arrogant and said the mayor acted unethically in his dealings with the U.S. Olympic committee.
