Showers over mountain regions, over plains showers later in the day

Some lingering showers and clouds will be over the eastern plains, and rain/snow showers across the mountain regions.  Otherwise things will cloudy, but a rather nice day over the area. Temperatures should shoot up into the 50s on the plains with 40s in the valleys. Over the far eastern plains, winds will keep up most of the day with northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph possible in the early part of the day. The I-25 corridor will see returning rain/snow later in the day.

Wednesday and Thursday a could of systems will impact the area. This will bring modest scattered precipitation to the region. There is even the possibility of a few bands of significant precipitation embedded within these systems.

Anticipate clearing to develop on Friday. Temperatures will be slightly warmer on Friday.

A ridge of high pressure will move over the region on Saturday. The resulting temperatures will be near to slightly above normal.
