The low that brought us our snow is tracking eastward into the Ohio Valley by this afternoon with high pressure building over the four corners region. A weak disturbance could bring another chance for light snow over the eastern mountains and adjacent plains. But, any additional accumulations will remain light with less than an inch of new snowfall.
A high pressure will move overhead tonight with snow coming to an end over the eastern mountains and adjacent plains. Fog development will be possible along the Arkansas river valley and San Luis Valley by Wednesday morning.
For Wednesday, some light snow possible to areas along the Continental Divide, with the rest of the area being dry. Any fog and low clouds development over the San Luis Valley Wednesday morning, should dissipate by late morning.
Thursday a high pressure associated with an upper ridge will be building over the Great Basin. This should leave most of southern Colorado generally dry, but we could still see some light precipitation over the Continental Divide. Temperatures on Thursday should be a little warmer.
Much of the same weather expected for Friday. By Friday night and Saturday, a new wave moves across Colorado, bringing a better chance for snow to the Central mountains, and possibly some light precipitation to southeast Colorado.
