Water main break closes Uintah

Colorado Springs Utilities is asking commuters to avoid the intersection of Uintah and 17th Street, after a water main break overnight.  

They have closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Uintah so crews can work on repairs.  The cold conditions and excess water from the break are making the roads extremely icy.

Utilities says the roads should be reopened by this afternoon.
