A 23 year-old woman was sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to falsely accusing a Parker police officer of beating and raping her.

Emily Petersen was also ordered Monday to complete 100 hours of public service and pay more than $6,000 for the costs of the investigation. The Douglas County Sheriff's office says Petersen had accused an officer of sexually assaulting her last summer during the Parker Days event.

She also faced charges of forgery and attempt to influence a public servant but those were dropped in exchange for her guilty plea.
